Often, parents wonder whether or not various after school programs are actually worth the money. This is mainly because there’s still a large amount of hassle that goes along with these programs the vast majority of the time. Ideally, your child would be getting some sort of educational value while, at the same time, you would be bereft of your parental duties for at least an hour so that you are free to work, run errands, or relax.
Some after school programs actually do end up leaving you with these results but most end up falling short in more ways than one. So what about martial arts after school programs? Are They worth it? Well, that depends on your particular situation. Most after school martial arts programs are only for an hour or so and you will need to transport your children there and home which pretty much means that you’ll be stuck there waiting for your kids the entire time. So, for most people most martial arts after school programs are not actually worth it.
However, there are after school programs with martial arts instruction that can transport your children from your home and back to it. These are very valuable programs for most people because you don’t need to worry about picking your kids up and sitting and waiting through an entire martial arts class/program which could last even longer than a full hour in some cases.
